The Expectation
Creative Chaos is looking to recruit a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQAE) who will be responsible to develop and execute the manual and automated test to ensure product quality. The candidate must have experience of designing and implementing test cases, debugging and defining corrective actions.
The Senior SQAE responsibilities will include but are not limited to gathering and analyzing the requirements, developing test plans and Bug reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Define test methods for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
2. Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirements.
3.Estimating QA/Testing efforts against features/functionalities.
4.Working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
5.Working with remote teams.
6.Develop, maintain and execute test cases (Zephyr is a plus).
7. Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts.
8. Develop, maintain and execute APIs Manual/Automated test cases.
Skills Required
a) Sound Knowledge of Databases (MySQL)
b) Hands on Experience of Testing Payment gateways (Braintree, stripe is a plus)
c) Experience of Data Validation
d) Hands on Experience of API testing (Postman, Swagger or Insomnia)
e) Strong grip on test planning and test cases writing
f) Skilled in Bug Reporting (JIRA Knowledge is a plus)
g)Experience of CI/CD in terms of automation testing
h)Good hands on knowledge of Automation (Selenium, JMeter, Postman)
i) Skilled in debugging (exception readings)
j) Good Security testing Skills using (Acunetix, Wireshark Knowledge is a plus)
Requirements
4 to 8 Years of similar work experience with ability to work actively and independently in the team.
Good management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to think creatively
Bachelors or Master degree from a reputable local or international university.
