The Digital Marketing Content Writer/Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and aggregating content across our clients and brand websites and ensuring that content is created, reviewed, edited and published in a timely manner. The Content Editor will work with multiple types of content such as text, imagery, video, SEO, etc. This position requires working both autonomously, with limited supervision, and collaboratively with other team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing and editing exclusive content for digital platforms in the sophisticated yet clear, straightforward manner consistent with the voice and style guide of the company
- Editing and adapting existing short-and long-form content developed by business and product partners
- Developing new digital content to support marketing strategies and campaigns including email, websites and social media
- Creating immersive multimedia messages by combining video, copy, photography and infographics to tell a complete story
- Supporting ongoing content workflows, routing and posting for integrated campaigns across all client and prospect channels
- Ensure that all assigned content and campaigns launch on schedule
- Lend editorial insights to develop best practices for content creation, quality control and competitive advantage
- This position will be responsible for creating, editing, distributing and optimizing a variety of wealth management and financial content across the company's digital platforms, email and social channels
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree required (Journalism/English/Creative Writing/Brand Management a plus); Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a corporate content organization; digital writing experience required
- Looking for a strong writer who is experienced in creating compelling content appropriate for a variety of digital channels
- Proven writing ability; samples of work required
- Adept at creating engagement and emotional connection while conveying information in a direct, clear and easy-to-understand manner
- Able to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task, problem-solve and reprioritize as needed
- Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience presenting concepts and participating in creative discussions
- Experienced with different media for distribution of content, print, digital, infographics, interactive and video
- Able to work as part of a team and as a creative partner with art directors, and digital content delivery teams
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Work with multiple owners of content to edit, measure, and ensure consistent, accurate content delivery
- Repurpose and optimize existing content for digital channels
- Knowledge of social media tools and analytics
- Experience in fashion related and/Creative Content. Bloggers are welcome. Fashion forward.
