We're running an Online Hiring Tournament on August 18th to hire 20 SVPs of Professional Services (USD $400K/yr).

This event will include all testing for the role. Upon grading the deliverables from the event, we will set up qualified candidates with an interview with the hiring manager.

This is a 100% remote, full-time role.

 

As an SVP of Professional services you will:

  • Lead and set the direction for the Professional Services organization of up to 5-10 VPs of Services and up to 500 total Individual contributors
  • Be responsible for the overall delivery of solutions to clients. This includes directing and managing the integration teams which includes Project Managers, Solutions Architects, Business Analysts and Implementation Consultants
  • Meet and exceed all P&L targets quarterly and annually, with a total portfolio up to $50M
  • Lead client implementation service delivery providing management and oversight of implementation projects and staffing, including project assignments, capacity planning and project profitability
  • Maintain complete control on project schedule, facilitate timely decisions to maintain budget, and identify project risks early to provide timely recommendations
  • Set and manage client expectations by designing project work plans to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with the ultimate budget holders
  • Establish yourself as the face of the business with our customers, driving their confidence to build and deploy an outstanding team of consultants to deliver results
  • Continually assess the extent to which each customer is realizing the full potential of their engagement with our software and services, working with them to increase value over time

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Master degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 20 years of work experience in telecommunications or enterprise software companies
  • At least 10 years of proven management experience, in a professional services leadership role, managing multiple teams and technologies
  • Experience managing technical engagements from concept to delivery
  • Extensive experience managing a team of 250-500 people
  • Seasoned consulting experience in the telecommunications industry to be able to provide business, techno-functional, implementation and strategic consulting advice
  • Skilled at understanding core concepts that enables to have meaningful technical discussions with Software Engineers, SaaS Ops, Technical Customer Support teams, and Project Managers
  • Experience in managing multiple, $30M-$50M, complex installations across more than a single product
  • Able to credibly discuss in English long-term strategies with F500 CxO-level management
  • Strong operational, project management, consulting technology and process improvement skills
  • Strong communication/presentation and negotiation skills
