Bazingo Inc. is looking for a “Game Server Engineer” to join its team in Lahore, to work full time on building and maintain multiplayer API’s and tools for the studio’s upcoming title, and its future projects. Successful Candidate should have direct industry experience with both web socket and Amazon Web Services. The primary focus of this position is to architect and build the client - server-side systems to support our games.
Responsibilities:
• Implement low-level back end systems for online multiplayer games
• Constant testing, monitoring and tuning to keep our game services available
• Build a Node.js web socket framework and application to support live multiplayer games
• Create and maintain utilities for use in development, testing, and deployment
• Build and manage operational environments for the game servers on AWS
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Delivers high-performance, clean and readable code
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with IOS and Android mobile game development
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
• Experience with implementing client / server architecture
• Multiple platform development experience (Linux, Windows)
• Experience with Database development (Microsoft SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Strong Java and C++ Language.
• Experience with networking using TCP/IP and UDP
• Experience with routing, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, NAT
• Experience with low-level network diagnostics tools such as tcpdump and wireshark
• Experience with securing systems (encryption, anti-cheating, denial of service)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Unity3D a plus
• Experience building Node Modules
• Experience building WebSocket programs
• Strong Full Stack experience including: PHP, NginX, HTML/CSS, HTTP protocol
