Key Responsibilities:
Verification and deployment of project data.
Development and design of web, desktop and mobile applications, APIs, and web sites.
creating and specifying architectural and technical parameters.
Building and maintaining innovative features.
Making decisions and providing continuous support for better output.
creating new high performance backend systems and APIs serving up content across the globe, using listed technologies.
Close collaboration with internal support and business teams.
Active role in coordination and identification of development activities.
Design, deployment and maintenance of web-based application tools and interfaces.
Design, deployment and administration of database(s) to support designated application structures.
Qualifications:
Required:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM background
4+ years experience with Open source technologies (PHP Frameworks , Javascript , Angularjs and Node.js) development
4+ years experience with HTML5 , CSS3 and Javascript UI.
4+ years experience in developing and administering database-driven SaaS applications
Knowledge of Mac OS X, Windows and Linux and their command line interfaces.
Proven record of deploying applications to public / private cloud or other environments
Solid experience with version control systems and CI/CD tools e.g. Jenkins
Experience with web service interface development (RESTful JSON, SOAP....)
Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English
Desirable:
Experience in working with very large database systems like Magento and others.
Wordpress, Ecommerce frameworks, Yii and Laravel knowledge to name a few.
Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience working with VMware or other virtualization software
Networking tools and technologies
Linux shell scripting (sh and/or bash)
Knowledge of ITIL best practices
