- The Sr. Windows & VMWare Engineer is responsible for overall design and engineering of Windows servers, VMWare, and for systems hardware & software related to the infrastructure.
- The individual is responsible for technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- The individual must have Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining complex VMware environments, including experience with multiple vCenter instances and versions, Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), Site Recovery Manager (SRM), Virtual Distributed Switch (VDS) and disaster recovery.
- The individual must have extensive experience to Perform reliable, secure backup and recovery across the enterprise in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Designing and Administration of Windows systems environment running Windows MS Server (2012, 2008),
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Exchange Server, Group Policy Objects as required.
- The individual must have experience to manage multiple file storage clusters, enforcing quotas on storage limits where required. Create and manage multiple security groups to ensure least-privileged access to program data
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- After-hours or call-in support is a possibility.
