Responsibilities:
Coordinate project planning sessions to take complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces and develop specifications
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks and devise contingency plans
Coordinate cross-functional work and convergence date working closely with the team
Communicate project status, key developments, updates, and problems to teams (both technical and non-technical) in other disciplines
Communicate with team members to clarify project expectations in a timely and clear fashion; Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately
Ensure the team builds software that is architecturally consistent and of high quality
Manage the product development lifecycle (agile / DevOps)
Track bugs and product backlog
Conduct project reviews and prepare progress reports
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (ex. Project plans, non-functional and functional specifications, and configuration management)
Implement best-practices that facilitate self-organization and enable our team to do their best work

The ability to understand and deal well with rapid development cycles and to remain flexible in the face of trade-offs given constraints
Proactive attitude with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in an agile development environment
Proficiency of Azure, python, C#, .NET.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s / Masters degree in computer science (MUST HAVE)
Minimum 4-6 years software development or managing a software house
Experience working with North American clients
Experience in managing a technical team and delivering high-quality products
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code
Experience with modern application architecture, agile and Microsoft development and cloud ecosystem
Knowledge of project lifecycles, DevOps, CI/CD, Automation, Monitoring, Work Tracking
Knowledge of Smart Sheets management tool is an asset (not required)
