JOB DESCRIPTION:
•To operate, monitor and respond to abnormal conditions of Data Center and Physical Infrastructure facilities systems (Electrical, Mechanical, DCIM, Fire System, Services Automation, Cabling)
•To manage, compile data and write reports regarding infrastructure KPIs, vendors’ SLA performance and team performance.
•To develop OPEX & CAPEX budgets, projects plans, project estimation costs.
•To communicate effectively with vendors who perform maintenance and upgrade work on existing systems.
•To directly coordinate with consultants, vendors, manufacturers, conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, SLDs and other data to identify the correct power / facility system requirements.
•To provide and analyze energy efficient solutions to minimize power losses.
•To understand the Data Centre environment and excel in Customer Service.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT:
•Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience.
•Excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a Data Centre environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, AVR , Isolation Transformer, Generators, Switcheroo Panels, UPS and DC Rectifier systems, ATS/STS units, Electrical Power Bus, Chillers, Air Handling Units and CRAC Units. Infrastructure BMS/NMS Software.
•Sound knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltages electrical system.
•Knowledge of generator operation and atomized system like ATS/AMF, Sync panel etc.
•Experienced in handling large to medium capacity UPS and DC Rectifier system operations.
•Knowledge of HVAC operation like conventional/ DC inverter air conditioner; VRF System, Water/Air Cooled InRow system.
•Proficient at designing application like MS Project, MS Visio, AutoCad, Freehand.
•Able to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks and priorities, operate under general direction, develop own work methods as required yet follow standard procedures and determine when management is to be consulted on unusual situations.
•Able to work in and manage teams.
