- Test applications from the perspective of user/client requirements including black/white box testing, UI/flow testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, regression testing, database testing and automation testing.
- Prepare and execute test cases covering all scenarios as per documents /client requirements.
- Give UAT demos to clients.
- Perform bug verification activities.
- Acquire knowledge about testing methodologies and practices and learn new testing tools.
- Strong concepts of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and database (queries, RDBMS).
- Experience with automated testing tools like JUnit/Spring Test, Selenium, etc.
- Expertise on AJAX, Javascript, CSS, HTML.
- Backend experience with either Java or PHP.
- Well versed in databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Postgre SQL)
- Experience with no SQL databases (MongoDB, Basho Riak, etc) will be preferred.
- Experience with JSP, Servlets, Spring and/or other MVC frameworks will be preferred.
