The Role:
Install, configure, and support an organization's applications and Windows operating systems. Monitor systems to ensure applications availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support applications availability. May assist in system dimensioning, analysis, planning, and coordination between Applications and hardware and licensed software. May supervise Applications specialists and will administrate systems operating systems.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain and administer applications systems and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- General Network Maintenance
- Install, Configure and Maintain Firewalls, VPN, Managed Switches, IP Surveillance and IP PBX/Asterik Systems
- Troubleshoots applications problems or systems failure involving hardware and software to determine the causes and possible solutions; implements solutions to resolve problems.
- Exchange Online and Outlook Management
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Software Licensing and Renewal
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Prepares daily, weekly and monthly activity reports for the reporting manager regarding activities, systems problems and utilization.
- Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned by the company.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in systems and network administration
- Microsoft Cerrtified Professionals will be preferred
- Cisco Certified will be a plus
- At least three (1) years of experience at the similar position.
