JOB SPECIFICATION Strong programming skills. and an exposure to PHP.
Experience using a back-end MVC Framework, Codeigniter, Laravel
Experience developing in a modern front end framework, Angular.js is preferred, but experience with Backbone, Ember, Knockout or React is also relevant.
Experience working with SQL databases, writing custom queries and designing schemas.
Experience in system integration of preferably financial services products / services
Experience of web services / API and related technologies
Experience of AJAX, JSON and REST
Expereince of test driven development (TDD), the ability to structure your code so it’s testable, and the desire to write tests.
Able to work in high growth environment and to take ownership of tasks in a rapidly evolving environment
Additional Skills:
Experience with git, grunt/gulp, bower
Experience with nodejs, sass
Social media related / transactional systems experience is a huge bonus
Experience of Scrum and Agile development
Experience with Amazon Web Service i.e. Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, SNS, Dynamo Database.
