• Manage, organize and control an efficient mechanical engineering workshop including managing Mechanics and Technicians
  • Manage, plans, control and organize the planned preventative/corrective mechanical maintenance of the fleet and related equipment to maximize lifespan and ensure safety
  • Supervise the Maintenance team ensuring work has been allocated and completed to the highest standard within the required time
  • Monitor employee productivity and ensure consistency of work being carried out
  • Coordinate with regional workshops to ensure standards of maintenance are being met across the network
  • Manage unplanned work resulting from breakdown and emergencies, ensuring work is dealt with in an efficient manner
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance & Monitoring teams to ensure proper implementation of all rules and regulations
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Department to ascertain demand for store items
  • Accomplish quality assurance objectives
  • Plan and review enforced policies and procedures
  • Analyze strategic plans and contribute in devising operational objectives
  • Prepares and complete action plans, implementing quality oriented maintenance approach
  • Identify and resolve problems, conduct audits, determine system improvements and implement changes
  • Coordination with Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to predict consumption of store items
  • Works with HR on employee development programs related to the Workshop and develop internal capability enhancements programs for Workshops
  • Meets quality assurance financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
  • Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analysis, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures as well as monitoring inventories
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information on maintenance of vehicles and consumption of fuel and spare parts.
