Overview

The Communications Manager will manage project information and communication needs in support of project objectives. This position will provide support across all project offices. The position will report to the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager.

Scope of Work

  • Manage project information, communication needs and other evidence of achievement.
  • Use information in Activity Database and MEAL reports to compile quick results reporting on program status and impact, including press releases and success stories.
  • Report program status and impact to various audiences and through a variety of formats.
  • Provide guidance and support to media components, as needed on activities and to media grantees.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications for development activities in conflict settings related role required.
  • Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a related role highly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • English language fluency required.
