The Daily Sun News Internship Program provides mentoring and learning opportunities to help students/interns develop their skills, network with Daily Sun News employees, and learn more about what it’s like to work in the News industry.
Summary: The Daily Sun News Internship Program is for motivated University/College students who are passionate about the news industry. University Students are paid to gain real world work experience with guidance from top news professionals. University Students are assigned to a department that matches their skill set, work experience and career aspirations.
Requirements:To apply:
- Must be enrolled in accredited college or university during the program
- Resume and cover letter detailing why you should be selected for this program
- Strong academic record
- Prior relevant work/internship experience (if any)
- Committed and available to work entire internship period
- Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation, although a small amount of stipind will be paid to successful candidates
- College/University credit is NOT required to be eligible for the program
If selected to move forward in the interview process:
- Demonstrated knowledge of current events and/or current news/affairs
- Transcript or letter showing proof of enrollment in University/College
- Letters of recommendation
