Daraz PK-Manager, Insights & Project Delivery-Logistics

This role within the Daraz department is centered on analyzing and optimizing logistics performance and costs across all stages, including first mile, line haul, and last mile operations. The successful candidate will work extensively with large datasets to identify inefficiencies and trends, develop business cases to support strategic investments, and design dashboards to monitor key performance indicators. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, especially Finance and Operations, is critical to lead cost rationalization projects and drive continuous process improvements. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed analyses of performance and cost metrics across all logistics functions, covering first mile, line haul, and last mile operations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies by detecting patterns, anomalies, and trends within large datasets to uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, to support investment decisions and key operational initiatives.
- Design and maintain dashboards and automated reports that effectively track critical KPIs and measure the impact of optimization efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to lead cost rationalization projects from initiation through execution.
- Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to support strategic planning and ongoing process improvements.
- Monitor post-implementation results to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or strategy roles with a focus on performance and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to leverage data to identify inefficiencies and drive measurable improvements.
- Solid understanding of logistics operations and cost structures across first mile, line haul, and last mile segments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in e-commerce, express logistics, or technology-driven logistics ecosystems.
- Expertise in financial modeling and experience working closely with finance teams.
- A problem-solving mindset with high ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
