Responsible for ensuring that the brand's message is consistent and effective across all channels, and that the company's products or services are perceived positively by the target audience. A brand manager is responsible for creating, developing, and executing brand strategies to enhance the reputation, image, and sales of a company's products or services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and enhancing brand language and designs: The brand manage must make sure that a design direction is developed for the brand and is followed 
  • Developing brand strategies: This involves understanding the target audience, conducting market research, analyzing competitor's strategies, and developing a comprehensive plan to enhance the brand's visibility and reputation.
  • Developing marketing plans: Once the brand strategy is developed, the brand manager creates a marketing plan to support it. This includes developing marketing campaigns, determining budgets, and establishing metrics to measure success.
  • Managing brand assets: The brand manager is responsible for managing brand assets, such as trademarks, logos, and other branding elements, to ensure they are consistent and effective.
  • Collaborating with internal teams: The brand manager works closely with other internal teams, such as sales, product development, and advertising, to ensure that the brand strategy is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
  • Managing external agencies: The brand manager works with external agencies, such as creative agencies, production house and PR firms, to execute marketing campaigns and ensure that they align with the brand's strategy.
  • Managing budgets: The brand manager will manage the budget for the brand, ensuring that all marketing and advertising initiatives are cost-effective.
  • Measuring and reporting on success: The brand manager will measure and report on the success of the brand's marketing and advertising initiatives, and use this data to continuously improve the brand's performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 years of marketing experience in relevant field
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially excel
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills
