The Data Analyst II position is part of Careem’s NextGen Programme, which focuses on developing analytical excellence and exposure to cutting-edge projects and technologies. This role offers the opportunity to address regional challenges through advanced data analysis and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all business data inquiries, delivering timely and accurate responses.
- Develop and maintain robust reporting solutions by applying engineering best practices and utilizing various reporting tools.
- Continuously refine reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Quickly understand business requirements and design innovative, data-driven solutions to complex problems.
- Support assigned business units by translating complex data into clear tables, graphs, and written reports.
- Present insights and analyses effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build subject matter expertise to define key performance indicators and identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Perform regular data integrity audits to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Design and assess data collection methods such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls.
- Collect and analyze data related to consumers, competitors, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in an analytical role.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with business intelligence and visualization tools to develop management dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and managing large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL queries efficiently.
- Self-driven with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to thrive in complex operational environments.
- Process-oriented, logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to engage hands-on in operational settings and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Looker for dashboard creation.
