Data Scientist / Data Analyst

Located in Bahria Town Civic Centre Phase 4 Rawalpindi, our company is looking for a talented Data Scientist / Data Analyst who is passionate about turning complex data into actionable business insights. The successful candidate will work with large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, optimize sales performance, and improve operational efficiency. Your analyses will play a crucial role in supporting leadership decisions, enhancing sales productivity, and shaping the company’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Redash to monitor business, sales, and logistics KPIs. Analyze Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) trends, customer behavior, retailer retention, and route efficiency to guide strategic growth initiatives. Design and maintain data models, pipelines, and reporting frameworks that integrate sales, CRM, and financial systems. Support the development and refinement of forecasting models related to sales, inventory, and route optimization. Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to identify data-driven opportunities and address performance gaps. Produce clear, insightful reports and present findings effectively to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all internal systems.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Two to five years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science, preferably within FMCG, logistics, or e-commerce sectors. Proven experience working with platforms such as Retailo, Jugnu, or Bazaar. Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel, along with familiarity with Python libraries like Pandas and Numpy. Deep understanding of key business metrics including sales, finance, and operational KPIs. Hands-on experience in data visualization, forecasting techniques, and DAX modeling. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and simply. Strong attention to detail and a good design sense for creating professional dashboards and reports.

Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Rawalpindi office. The monthly salary for this position is Rs70,000.
