Primary Function
- DataDistinct Solutions, LLC, based out of Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a junior to mid-level Network Engineer to support day to day pre sales customer’s queries in Lahore based Office. In this role, the qualified candidate will Research/Suggest/Select end user computing and network products out of wide range of different brand and models in cost effective manner.
- Candidate will prepare or ensure pre sales activates as documented or told. This job will nourish candidate to perform network and surveillance design works.
- Candidate will be furnish with all required training and must be willing to sign bond and contract.
Essential Skills & Responsibilities
- Two (2) or more years of Network and End User Computing products (Desktop, laptops, etc) Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or IT or a related discipline is required OR Four (4) years of industry, experience may be substituted for a degree.
Technical Experience
- Demonstrated experience and/or strong understanding of End User computing products (Laptop, PC, Docks Cabling, ports, disks, memory, graphics etc)
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Enterprise computing products (Servers, Switches, HUB, Routers, IP protocol etc)
- Concepts and knowledge of Enterprise storage solutions (Entry/Mid/Enterprise Level SAN, RAID etc).
- Install and configure Windows Operating system.
- Should be able to maintain and troubleshooting office network.
Interpersonal Skills
- Hard working, longer-term career interest and ready to learn “whatever-take” basis.
- Active Listening - Paying full attention to what senior is saying, taking time to understand the points/practice made,
- Asking appropriate questions to understand fully of requirement and process.
- Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of proposed solutions.
- Better English writing and reading Skills
Preferred But Not Required
- Experience or familiarity with Sale Cycle Development methodology.
