- Plans develops and implements SEO strategy
- Regularly performs thorough keyword research and builds and maintains dashboards and executes reporting for stakeholders to review
- Works toward organic search optimization, seeking to increase organic website visitors and conversions
- Prepares and presents SEO reports to business and leadership teams
- Performs routine site audits to identify technical SEO fixes and works with developers to ensure the website is performing to the highest standard
- Identifies backlinking opportunities and implements strategies to improve the website’s domain authority
- Keeps a pulse on search engine algorithm updates and helps position the organization to capitalize on algorithm changes
- Identifies content opportunities based on keyword research and website analytics insights
- Works with the content team to periodically update website content and help guide content strategy
- Works with social media and digital ad teams to optimize campaigns around search terms
- Keeps up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing best practices
- Delivers training and tools to our marketing team to improve SEO results
- Keeps current on project status; makes sure people are aware of project status and what they need to do to keep things moving; elevates project concerns to senior levels of leadership when appropriate
- Establishes positive and collaborative relationships across departments that are strategically aligned with SEO goals
- Provides high-level direction to team members in the development of SEO strategies
- Performs other duties as assigned.
