We are looking for 5+ year experienced AWS Expert responsible for managing our AWS infrastructure. We need someone who is good in Linux and Windows and has experience in managing virtual machines, AWS Services, Services Monitoring, Automation, creating CI/CD pipelines and service capacity planning.
The AWS Expert need to have experience in managing US based clients. He must have good communication skills and can identify problems efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Understand the current infrastructure and suggest changes to it.
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
- Migrate sites and applications with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable AWS setup.
- Set up a monitoring stack.
- Define service capacity planning strategies.
- Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.
Skills
- Experience with the core AWS services, like EC2, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Elastic Container and Kubernetes service, S3 storage, RDS, Aurora, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53 etc
- Good background in Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus.
- Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications.
