Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a diligent Civil Site Supervisor with 3 to 5 years of solid experience in building construction projects. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering and has strong expertise in overseeing construction site activities to ensure timely and quality project delivery. This role requires proficiency in layout and demarcation, manual drafting, quantity takeoff and estimation, and civil quality assurance standards. The Civil Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing various construction processes and coordinating resources on site. The position involves travel and work in designated areas including Bahria Town, Nooriabad, and nearby regions.
The Civil Site Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that construction projects meet specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations while effectively allocating resources and liaising with contractors. This position requires strong organizational skills and technical knowledge, as well as the ability to monitor and assess progress closely to address any issues on site promptly. The role does not involve managing a team, focusing instead on hands-on supervision and quality control of on-site operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Perform layout and demarcation tasks accurately to align construction work with engineering designs.
- Conduct manual drafting and prepare As-Built drawings documenting construction progress and changes.
- Execute quantity takeoff and estimation to assist in resource planning and material procurement.
- Implement and monitor civil quality assurance procedures to maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Inspect construction work regularly to ensure it meets engineering standards and project requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive site records including progress reports, quality checks, and safety inspections.
- Ensure effective allocation and utilization of materials, tools, and manpower on site.
- Facilitate communication between project management and on-site personnel regarding schedules, changes, and challenges.
- Travel to and work within the designated construction areas including Bahria Town, Nooriabad, and surrounding sectors.
- Identify and report any site hazards or delays proactively and suggest corrective actions to management.
- Support the implementation of safety guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
