· Troubleshooting of machines in order to prevent hindrances.
· Assists Manger in preparation of annual preventive maintenance schedule for the mechanical maintenance section for all types of machines.
· Responsible to arrange spares and attend queries, proactively, related to mechanical maintenance.
· Allocate job task to subordinates and helpers as per status and supervise them.
· Monitoring and supervision of subordinates. Responsible for proper staffing.
· Receives work orders from departments, and allocates jobs to subordinates as per need.
· Maintains record in the form of work orders and preventive maintenance cards are maintained.
· Coordinate with all the departments related to production including Process engineering and HR departments, to prevent any maintenance issues.
· Responsible for work requests of oracle feeding/Oracle attending.
· Be proactive in maintenance of machinery critical and non critical to production.
· Responsible for technical coordination with the purchase department before and after receiving of spares & inventory.
· Find ways and develop ideas to improve mechanical maintenance further.
