Responsibilities
- Write clear, attractive content with a distinct tone
- Lead social platform best practice development on various platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr and more
- Interpret content and creative briefs to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
- Use SEO principles to maximize content’s reach
Requirements
- Create & Execute (Organic / Non-Paid and Paid) Strategy across brand-owned platforms
- Devise and lead initiatives to increase followers, engagement, and traffic to our site for each of our accounts; measure success and ROI on an ongoing basis
- Champion social listening tools and use intel to inform campaign strategy, KPIs, content development, optimization tactics
- Work with the marketing team to create strategic plans for overall Social Media programs + monthly / quarterly posting content calendars
- Keep agency and creatives abreast of trends, platforms and other relevant news-worthy updates
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of social media and/or social content experience; 1+ years digital agency experience; content marketing, social media, copy writing, email marketing, or equivalent
- Excellent writing skills; impeccable grammar is a must, as well as the ability to write in different styles and tones to match each brand
- Data-driven approach to decision-making; must be able to quantify ROI and impact for all marketing activities
- Working knowledge of Google analytics and Facebook analytics, as well as knowledge of Facebook and Instagram for business
