We are looking for a dependable and responsible Delivery Rider to transport dairy products safely to both residential and commercial customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries by planning efficient routes while maintaining the freshness and quality of the products. This role demands strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards throughout the delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
Product Delivery:
Ensure the safe delivery of dairy products to customers, making certain that all items arrive in excellent condition. Plan and follow efficient routes to guarantee timely and reliable service.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner during each delivery. Respond promptly to customer inquiries or concerns and escalate any unresolved issues to the relevant team members.
Product Handling:
Carefully handle dairy products to maintain freshness and quality throughout transit. Verify each order before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Operate the delivery vehicle responsibly while complying with all traffic laws. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle, including fuel levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations during the delivery process. Follow company protocols for handling and delivering perishable goods to preserve product integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education level: Intermediate (preferred)
- At least one year of experience as a rider or delivery personnel
- Valid Police Character certificate
- Ownership of a personal bike for delivery purposes
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Full-time position with a starting monthly salary of Rs37,000.00
- Work location requires in-person attendance
