Objective:
Cook quality food for WHH staff and keep the office premises clean and tidy
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
The Cook is responsible for making quality food for WHH Staff. And support Cleaner in cleaning of office equipment’s and office premises.
Major Responsibilities as Cook
- Prepare and cook food according to daily meal menu
- Develops daily food preparation and production list
- He/she is responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of food and services
- Determines foods needs and quantities based upon daily usage by WHH staff
- Maintains standards of sanitation, kitchen hygiene and food service technique and safety
- Make tea arrangements for the staff as well as for the guests when needed (after 2.00 PM)
- He/she is responsible for monthly food advances and their liquidation
- Maintain the visitor food record for proper reimbursement
- Maintain the food register to staff contribution
- Any other task assigns by the supervisor in line with Job profile
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Administration, Finance
External: Market vendors
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Very good health
- Good interpersonal skills
- Literate enough to communicate easily
- 02 Year cooking/attendant experience
- Ability to work in pressure
- Good norms and ethics
- Experience with (I) NGOs would be an added value
