We are looking for a skilled DevOps Integration Expert to join our team in Islamabad at Grade Level L2. This role plays a vital part in bridging development and operations by integrating tools, pipelines, and automation to accelerate and improve the delivery of applications and services. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, orchestration, and monitoring solutions, working across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. Collaboration with developers and system engineers is essential to ensure smooth deployments and standardized processes. The application deadline is 10th November 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both applications and infrastructure. Automate provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm. Integrate testing, security, and compliance measures into pipelines following DevSecOps principles. Facilitate the integration of applications and services across VMware Cloud, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), AWS, and Azure. Collaborate closely with development and system engineering teams to ensure smooth and standardized deployments across various environments. Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, including building, deploying, and monitoring containerized workloads. Implement service mesh solutions where applicable to enhance container orchestration. Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks to maintain platform reliability. Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to ensure high availability and scalability. Maintain clear documentation of pipelines, integrations, and processes. Provide technical guidance to teams on DevOps best practices and workflows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Three to five years of professional experience in DevOps, system integration, or cloud automation. Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and Tekton. Expertise in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Puppet, or Chef. Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Familiarity with cloud platforms including VMware Cloud, AWS, Azure, and OCP. Hands-on knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go. Solid understanding of DevOps best practices, including security integration.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred candidates will hold certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), RedHat OpenShift certifications (DO280, EX280), or AWS/Azure DevOps certifications. Experience with GitOps workflows and familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN) or service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd is highly desirable.
