Devpic Solutions Pvt Limited is seeking a skilled USA Truck Dispatcher to efficiently manage and coordinate freight operations for truck drivers and carriers across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking loads, negotiating rates, planning routes, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining professional and continuous communication with drivers and brokers. This role requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of trucking operations and logistics software.
The position involves working with various types of freight such as Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Power Only, and Box Truck dispatching. The selected candidate will handle critical tasks including load searches, route planning, freight negotiation, managing paperwork, and real-time problem resolution. Although this role does not involve team management, it demands the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple drivers and loads while complying with all USA trucking regulations. This position is full-time and requires working night shifts according to USA timings.
Responsibilities
- Search and book appropriate loads utilizing load boards such as DAT and Truckstop to optimize driver utilization and maximize profits.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with freight brokers and shippers to coordinate and confirm load details while maintaining strong business relationships.
- Negotiate load rates effectively to ensure competitive pricing and maximize driver earnings without compromising on service quality.
- Dispatch drivers efficiently by coordinating assignments, monitoring shipment progress, and making adjustments as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
- Plan and optimize routes based on load requirements and delivery locations to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Maintain constant communication with drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, route changes, and any operational issues that arise.
- Prepare, organize, and manage essential paperwork including rate confirmations, bills of lading, and broker packets to ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Update dispatch records and maintain CRM or fleet management software with accurate, up-to-date shipment information and driver status.
- Resolve delivery, routing, or operational issues swiftly and professionally to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all USA trucking regulations, safety standards, and company policies to promote safe and legal freight operations.
- Support carrier setup processes and track electronic logging devices (ELDs) to monitor driving hours and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Handle multiple loads and driver assignments simultaneously by organizing priorities and managing time effectively during night shifts.
- Maintain strong organizational skills and multitasking capabilities to handle dynamic dispatch demands in a fast-paced environment.
