Dexter Clan is seeking a developer responsible for building projects for a variety of target platforms based on the React Native and Swift.
PS: Here at Dexter Clan we don’t believe in output driven work only, we focus on the way we write code, solve problems and architect solutions and then build a scalable application.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with the Dexter Clan’s internal development, UX, and creative teams. You’ll be contributing and communicating with our 8 Pakistani developers and 5 developers from the USA. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with our creative technology team to build Mobile applications for Virtual reality, Augmented reality and Mixed reality projects. PS: We don’t build mobile games here :-P
Work with UI/UX designers to innovate new user experiences.
Design and architect software components based on functional specifications and requirements.
Develop React-Native hybrid and native iOS components and APIs used by other resident client-side applications.
Provide technical leadership and expertise for product deliverables.
Apply and integrate technologies such as React Native, Objective-C, Cocoa, AppleScript, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery Mobile, HTML5, PhoneGap.
Design, develop and unit test applications in Agile sprints while utilizing test driven development (TDD).
Evaluate technologies and present proposed architecture to the team.
Collaborate with team members about their designs and solutions.
Perform code reviews as well as subjecting your code to review.
Must-Have
3+ years of production experience with React Native and integration of native solutions to make hybrid apps work.
Strong understanding of core concepts of JS, Redux, and other state management libraries.
Full life cycle iOS Mobile app development experience is a must (excellent knowledge of iOS, Objective-C, C/C++, Cocoa and iOS design patterns).
5+ years of Mobile development including React-Native and iOS.
3+ years of protocol-oriented software development experience
1+ years building iOS applications in Swift 4.0+
Proficient knowledge of code versioning with GIT.
Strong understanding of iOS, Swift and modern React concepts.
Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns.
Knowledge of Unit Testing e.g. Jest, Mocha, XCTest, Mock objects etc.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and frameworks is a must.
Preferred expertise
Production experience with Android particularly Kotlin.
Production experience with integration of Unity and other 3D environments.
Production experience of working on AR / VR apps.
