Reports to: Area Sales Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To identify new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing dealers, develop relationships with potential dealers and ensure delivery of exceptional service in order to maximize revenue and further organization’s profitability and growth.

In addition, the position shall be responsible to stay informed about the marketing activities being carried out by the competitors.

Description

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate new leads to achieve set targets and enhance organization’s growth and profitability.
  • Build a strong dealership base by identifying and reaching different sales channels and identify opportunities for effective market penetration to deliver on revenue, growth, profits and market share.
  • Introduce offerings of Diamond Foam and Spring to the dealers in order to help organizations meet their key business challenges.
  • Monitor sales performance to keep the Area Sales Manager updated on anticipated revenues.
  • Meet sales targets, as agreed upon, in the most efficient and timely manner.
  • Check the delivery status of products on a daily basis and notify the Area Sales Manager in case of delivery related issues.
  • Conduct field visit on a regular basis in order to remain aware and cognizant of market activities and resolve queries of dealers and customers in an efficient manner.
  • Prepare market report on a daily basis and submit it to the Area Sales Manager in a timely manner for review.
  • Maintain an updated database of existing dealers along with relevant details for review and ease of access at all times.
  • Customer Satisfaction, Retention and Key Corporate Relationships:
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with existing dealers to maximize sales revenues.
  • Deliver a sharper customer focus in all sales initiatives and customer interactions to ensure utmost satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement necessary strategies to increase market share of Diamond Foam and Spring.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department’s systems, processes, and practices while taking into account international best practices, cost reduction, and improvement of business processes and productivity.

  • Number of new leads generated.

  • No: of schemes introduced for dealers.

  • Targets met as per agreed timeline.
  • Timely notification of delivery related issues to the Area Sales Manager
