An opportunity to join a Karachi-based next generation digital agency in an exciting period of growth that has the strong financial backing. We are looking for Senior Magento Developers to join our rapidly-growing team and help to build our platform as our business grows. This role will suit someone who is passionate about using Magento and understands just how powerful it can be when used correctly. A hands-on approach will be required to continue to build on our expanding eCommerce website front-end and Magento back-end
Skills:
- Ability to utilize a vast array of open-source Magento plug-ins to satisfy business feature enhancements and requirements
- Edit Magento source code where necessary to adjust base products to better suit business needs and design requirements > Professional Front-End / Back-End developers for Magento 2
- Magento Certification is a huge plus
- PHP 7, MYSQL, Java script
- PHP certification is a big plus
- Develop highly scalable systems using a variety of tools and languages and multiple open-source technologies
- Define architectural improvements to our current tech stack and identify ongoing optimizations as it expands and becomes more complex
- Hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) AWS EC2, Auto scaling, RDS
- You have a can do attitude and believe that anything is possible with the right focus and the right team
- Constant learners: Youre always growing and love to keep up with the latest technologies, best practices and techniques
- Passionate about technology with a sharp attention to detail
Requirements:
- At least 2-5 years experience working in Magento development in either an eCommerce business or Agency
- Working experience with the ecommerce development process, and the ability to create solutions for common questions/concerns on this type of platform
- Design solutions and integrate with third-party systems including payment processing, shipping, affiliate marketing, email marketing, currency exchange, and product feeds
- Experience working as part of a team software development effort and have ground-up tech stack design+build experience
- Able to learn new tools and technologies quickly
- Able to triage priorities and ship target deliverables on-time and on-spec
- Able to manage time and juggle competing priorities while working with the wider team to accomplish business objectives
- Hard-working and focused: you know what it means to get 'in the zone' and how to get there
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Familiar with SEO / SEM best practices
