We are seeking a Game Designer to help build an exciting new game. The ideal candidate will have previous experience developing games, with a focus on the design, creation, and maintenance of core game systems. You will crafting a new product from the very early stages. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced start-up like environment and want to invent the future The candidate has a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, boundless creativity, a strong visual aesthetic, and a passion for creating video games.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design core game system mechanics, including missions, challenges and game play balance for in-house mobile productions
- Collaborate with graphic designers and engineers to achieve the desired visual and art style
- Maintain and elaborate design level documentation, including universe, guidelines and mission outlines.
- Plan games using screenshot mockups, UI frames, flowcharts and other visual devices.
- Fine-tune codes and parameters in Unity3D that control the balance of the game data.
- Further optimization and correction of game design, in collaboration with in-house game programmers
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Understand the game development process from concept, through final product release, to live maintenance
- Understanding all the requirements and constraints of working on a mobile game.
- Extreme attention to detail, driving for perfection
- Extremely self-motivated with strong prototyping, documentation and communication skills
- Experience developing a wide array of game assets such as items, weapons, enemies and spells
- Highly-motivated self-starter with a passion for making high quality game
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Committed to a great user experience
- Strong sense of ownership and drive
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude with ability to interact with cross-departmental groups
