Skills and Experience Required.

  • Ability to troubleshoot Data Center Equipment at component level such as UPS, batteries, PDU's, STS, EMS, DCIM etc.
  • Utilizes hand tools and test equipment to perform work -Requires excellent verbal, written communication skills & customer relation skills.
  • Must be able to provide high level of quality customer service.
  • Must be able to complete Field Service Report/Preventive Maintenance Reports in a timely manner
  • Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer's specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit resourcefulness.
  • Must be able to provide necessary pro-active recommendations to clients.
  • Candidate must be willing to work nights & weekends when necessary.
  • Knowledge of general computer hardware & software applications.
  • Responsible for commissioning, maintaining and providing emergency support on power electronics at customers' sites within the regional coverage area.
  • Performs commissioning-focused design reviews, prepares commissioning test procedures and reports, coordinates and oversees on-site testing.
  • Perform required quarterly or semi-annual preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled. Perform initial starts-ups, emergency response and/or field modifications.
  • Attends periodic training at the company's headquarters on various OEM units and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which includes testing equipment and/or rebuilding older systems.
  • Troubleshoots issues with the technical-support group related to maintenance or operation of equipment -Educate customers on basic operation of their equipment, informing them of issues they may experience and the necessary corrective actions.
  • Establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, coworkers, sales representatives and others. Maintain and safeguard company-issued tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot critical power systems down to the root cause and perform repairs with minimum customer downtime or site operation disruption.
  • Recognize sales opportunities for critical power equipment and other add-on products and link potential customers with the appropriate internal and external sales and technical resources.

Must Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience.
  • Technical Degree/Diploma [Electrical/Electronics]
  • OEM Training with Certificate/s (APC by Schneider Electric, HUAWEI).
