We are looking for experienced Cisco Network Engineers to join our team. Our company seeks a knowledgeable, talented, and industrious network engineer who will work alongside the IT support team to ensure maximum performance of a high traffic network infrastructure while maintaining system integrity. Internal networks include computer, voice, and firewall. The ideal candidate for the position of network engineer is agreeable, helpful, and efficient as well as having in-depth knowledge of networks with a focus on high-level design and planning.
Job Requirements
Design, deploy and manage LANs, WANs, Wireless Networks, including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, IP PBX and other hardware.
Maximize Network Availability and Performance through monitoring, troubleshooting network problems, outages and scheduling upgrades.
Configure DNS Servers.
Maintain Firewalls and manage security related to hacking.
Define, document, and enforce system standards.
Design, recommend and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of Network Operations.
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing Global Access Control policies.
Work closely with Project Management Team and be a technical lead on network projects.
Be a team player and contribute to the success of the IT organization.
Professional certifications CCNA and CCNP or equivalent.
BS degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related technical field.
Minimum 3+ years of proven work experience as a Network/Communications Engineer.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience of installation, operation and maintenance of Cisco equipment, specifically ISR, Switches and IP PBX for small to medium business.
Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
