A fast growing international accounting firm is looking for an assistant accountant to join their account teams based in Lahore office. Duties are as follows:
- Maintaining accurate and timely accounting records for companies.
- Preparing books of accounts till trial balance level.
- Assisting senior accountant/manager in finalizing the accounts and corporation tax returns
- Assisting senior accountant/manager in managing UK payroll
- Assisting senior accountant/manager in managing UK VAT Returns.
- Other adhoc tasks as given by the chief accountant and director.
Requirements:
- Part Qualified ACCA (candidates in professional stage exam), ACCA Affiliates or other similar accounting bodies.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the similar role in an industry environment or accounting practice is a must.
- Preference will be given to candidates having past experience of working on UK based clients in an accounting practice.
- Attention to detail.
- Working experience on XERO, VT would be an added advantage.
Package:
- Salary PKR35, 000 to PKR50, 000 depending upon experience.
