Job Description
This position is responsible for managing all search engine optimization activities in order to improve company search rankings. The candidate must have knowledge of and practice advanced SEO tactics. The position requires the candidate to proactively implement on-page and off-page SEO. The candidate must have experience and be well versed with tactics, such as link building, metadata, site/page speed, site architecture, mobile optimization, and algorithm updates. Must have familiarity with some SEO tools like ahref, MOZ, google analytics, and Webmasters.
The position also requires the individual to monitor, analyze, and report upon specific search engine rankings and traffic volume. A main function of the position will focus on the ability to boost current search engine positions in results pages that are providing traffic and those that are not or desired. The candidate must utilize the best tools available to aid performance and strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Improve search engine rankings for target keywords
• Optimize copy for various web pages
• Provide keyword analytics, strategy & reports
• Recommend structural website changes (front & back end)
• Improve website speed performance
• Analyze competitor search rankings
• Perform ongoing keyword research and recommendations
• Work with the web development team to ensure correct SEO implementation on website
• Work with the marketing communications team to improve SEO in content
• Work with SEO and Lead Gen team to improve organic traffic growth in target areas online
