Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience developing within the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms, as well as HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP/Laravel or Mean Stack.
- Extensive Java script knowledge and experience - particularly the use of JS on e-commerce websites and/or platforms
- Strong knowledge of liquid programming language
- Generate custom – tailored Shopify theme and enchance existing template.
- Candidates should be Confident, self -motivated, who work well in team environments.
- Strong knowledge of LINUX OS
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Knowledge in other e-commerce platform like Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce will be beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Taking part in the discovery process of identifying client requirements
- Utilising your knowledge of progressive enhancement and responsive design techniques
- Identifying compatibility pitfalls with older browsers
- Generate custom Shopify themes, and enhance existing templates
- Research, customize/develop and implement third-party add-ons, plugins, and other integrations
- Contributing to the standards of front-end development within the company
- Advising on front-end/UX best practices and ideal approaches/ techniques to use on projects
- Sharing your knowledge with other members of the team
- Mentor junior team members
- Transposing designers’ visuals into high quality code
