Job Responsibilities
- Develop a maintenance plan for the core web-based systems and oversee the ongoing technical work needed to implement this plan. Writing testable, maintainable PHP code.
- Improving the performance and reliability of PHP code to allow products to scale in line with organizational demand
- Responsible for continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes relating to online technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Laravel and VueSJS/ReactJS is essential.
- Ability to optimize/write optimized database queries on large datasets
- Knowledge of REST and API methodologies
- Ability to use version control systems and do so religiously
- Understanding of Agile practices and principles
- Strong TDD/unit-testing/test automation
