The successful candidate will have project or program coordination experience. Experience in developing and / or delivering capacity building or training initiatives is beneficial. Additionally, communications and event management experience is also a plus. Travel across Lahore and possibly other parts of Punjab will be required.
Responsibilities• Support the organization and execution of capacity building trainings in collaboration with Facebook and Facebook’s authorized trainers.• Publicize the availability of trainings and conduct outreach to interested groups for participation in trainings.• Develop lists of participants to invite to each training and liaise with participants in the lead up to trainings.• Conduct pre training and post training surveys to assess the impact of training.• Support program related communications, coordinating between partners and Facebook’s communications teams and external agencies; • Liaise regularly with the Facebook team to update on program progress, identify challenges and priorities for the program• Identify and develop stories and case studies of small businesses; • Other duties as identified Requirements and Attributes• 1 year of experience in program coordination and/or management, training, event management and/or social media• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, • Outstanding communication skills in English and Urdu with excellent attention to detail;• Proficient with Facebook and its family of technology, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, and generally a natural at adopting new technology;• Comfortable in fast-paced, often ambiguous environment, takes initiative; • Experience coordinating communications activities and the development of marketing materials a benefit;• Experience coordinating events or trainings a benefit;• Self-starter that can work independently but remain a collaborative team player• Enthusiastic with high energy and a real “can-do” attitude;• You want to make the world a better place, and want to work on issues that address social and economic issues.• Fresh graduates looking to start their careers and/or mothers looking to re-enter the workforce are strongly encouraged to apply.
