We are a leading technology solutions provider based in Australia and are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Officer with 1 - 2 years of experience.
Primary Job Accountabilities
- Investigating technical support requests and escalating appropriately on a range of technologies, including:
- Windows 7/8/10
- Windows Server (AD, GPs, Hyper-V etc.)
- Microsoft 365(SharePoint, Exchange Online & Azure AD)
- Networking (Routing, Switching)
- Antivirus/antispam administration and support
- Backup administration and support
- Server hardware management and support
- Patch management for servers and desktops
- Ensuring documentation is kept up to date
Required & Desirable Skills
- Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2019
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 – 2019/Online
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services/Terminal Services
- Experience with virtualisation technologies/Hyper-V
- Experience with user management in Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with Backup & Firewalls (Desirable)
- Experience with technologies other than listed would be a plus point.
- MS and other industry certifications an advantage.
Other Skills & Requirements
- Excellent English Written & Speaking Skills (Essential & Critical to this role)
- Pro-actively making decisions.
- Ability to find solutions by searching.
- This is a work from the home role, so you have to have a good internet connection and a reliable computer.
