The Accounts Officer is aimed to manage the financial records of the Dr. Salim Ahmed & CO (DSC) including book keeping, taxation etc.


The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing DSC business to achieve long-term success.

Job Description

  • To maintain financial records (Both Payments & Receipts)
  • To manage withholding tax record and to deposit it in the Bank/Treasury as per requirement without any lapse.
  • To manage SALES TAX RETURNS on monthly basis- Sales Tax computation knowledge is MUST
  • To handle Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • To prepare/check/record data of invoices
  • To prepare ageing reports for recovery on client to client/requirement basis.
  • To resolve accounts to the General Ledger of the Company
  • To maintain Book of Accounts and prepare “Statutory Accounts” as per requirements by the lawyers/Chartered Accountants/Tax Authorities
  • To manage Petty Cash matters
  • To resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints with reference to Accounts
  • To prepare regular reports of Cash Flow Statements and P&L on monthly/quarterly/half yearly/Annual basis
  • Any other with the approval of supervising staff

Qualification & Experience

  • B. Com-Preferably MBA Finance
  • Minimum 3-year experience in professional work environment- preferably pharma
  • Sufficient knowledge of WHT & Sales Tax computation
  • Must have working experience on ERP Software-Odoo

Working Hours

  • 9:30 AM to 6 PM – (Occasional late sittings)
  • 5 days a week – 2 weekly offs (Friday + Sunday)

Salary & Other Benefits

  • The salary is between the range of Rs 45K to Rs 60K depending upon the qualification & expertise of the candidate
  • Annual Bonus- Equal to one-month salary- Payable in Ramazan every year after completion of one-year service
  • Medical Insurance (Emergency Coverage Rs 250,000 + Rs 250,000 for Spouse Per annum)
  • Life Insurance Rs 1.0 Million
