Gynecologist

Dr Shawana Mufti DSM is seeking a dedicated Gynecologist with a strong background in obstetrics and hormonal therapy to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in gynecology and demonstrates a thorough understanding of womens health issues. This role involves providing expert care related to reproductive health, managing pregnancy and childbirth, and administering treatments involving hormonal therapies. The Gynecologist must exhibit excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently as this position does not include managing a team.

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat conditions related to the female reproductive system, including menstruation disorders, menopause, infertility, and reproductive tract infections.
Provide comprehensive prenatal care to expectant mothers, monitor fetal development, and manage labor and delivery with attention to maternal and infant health.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include hormonal therapies to address conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome and hormonal imbalances.
Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.
Conduct routine screenings, such as Pap smears and pelvic exams, and interpret test results to identify abnormalities and initiate early interventions.
Offer counseling and education regarding contraception options, family planning, and lifestyle modifications to promote reproductive health.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records documenting patient history, treatments, and outcomes with strict confidentiality.
Stay current with advances in gynecology and obstetrics through continuous education, attending seminars, and reviewing medical literature.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care addressing physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of women's health.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards governing patient care and treatment within the gynecological field.
