An international IT services company is seeking a detail-oriented, technology-and-customer-focused Systems Programmer who builds and codes applications and/or models primarily using Oracle PL/SQL and C# .NET. Knowledge of Deltek products, Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps (model-driven) and Flow/Automate, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) (cloud) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (cloud), Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (cloud), Microsoft Azure, ETL work with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report authoring, Power BI report authoring (cloud and on premise) and ability to write and maintain SQL statements (Oracle database) is needed. Experience working with other programming languages is a plus. Experience with JDA applications (WMS) and database structure is a plus. Experience with Cubiscan technology and applications is a plus. This individual will work actively with the GDIT business community to solve business problems with systematic and process solutions that fit with company/customer system architecture standards. Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standards
- Performs routine programming activities according to project specifications.
- Participates in the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance of computer programs.
- Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements.
- Troubleshoots various software products to determine source of errors.
- Participates in the writing and updating of various technical documentation such as users manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
- Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or work experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge and experience with C# .NET (MVC, Windows Forms, and Windows Services) required.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- At least 2 years of directly related computer programming experience.
