Responsibilities
· Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
· Maintain and improve website
· Build reusable code and libraries for future use
· Optimize applications for maximum speed
· Design mobile-based features
· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
· Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
· Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
· Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
· Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Requirements
· Must be able to comprehendand understand client’s requirements and terminologies involved.
· Good Communication Skills.
· HTML/XHTML Media Queries CSS/CSS3, Less CSS, Bootstrap ¾
· Developing pixel perfect layouts
· Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
· Hands on experience with markup languages
· Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery including HTML5, CSS3
· Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
· Should possess strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and cross-platform coding.
· Must have the ability to multi-task and think outside the box.
· Must have good experience in JavaScript/JQuery.
· Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
· Good understanding of AngularJS
· Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
· Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
· In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
· Understanding of layout aesthetics
· Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Sketch
· An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
· BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
