Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be responsible for defining, implementing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases and test automation tools/scripts to ensure software is delivered with high quality.
- The SQA Automation Engineer is required to have good communication with the team and customers, and a strong technical background in terms of successfully developing, managing and implementing product test script libraries.
- Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Skills and Competencies:
- Enhance and maintain our automated processes
- Automated build and release experience for both system and/or software
- Code modules from detailed or high-level design requirements
- Review and analyze product requirements to create a reusable suite of test cases and test scripts.
- Performs low level project planning for quality assurance (QA) of projects.
- Run test cases, document and analyze results.
- Report, track and verify defects in JIRA as well as other set of tools and processes.
- Help developers troubleshoot issues.
- Manage and maintain test plans and the test case repository.
- Write and maintain regression tests, both manual and automated.
- Work with the team to take ownership of QA related tasks.
