- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in below mentioned technologies. (5+ years of experience in Java + 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering)
- Selecting and integrating big data tools and frameworks (preferable experience in Spark, Hadoop, Mesos, Yarn).
- Some experience with NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of various ETL and logging frameworks (Flume, Splunk)
- Monitoring performance and advising on infrastructural changes.
- MVC Framework: Spring/Play/SpringBoot/Jersey
- JPA: Hibernate
- DBMS: PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Testing: Test Driven Development, JUnit, Mockito
- RESTful Web Services and REST API design
- Design Patterns: Java EE design patterns
