- The ideal candidate will have a background in software development/information security, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong documentation and communication skills. A technical degree is encouraged, preferably in Information Security having strong Networks knowledgebase. Prior professional quality assurance experience or software development experience during any internship is a significant plus.
- Creating and executing tests on web/cloud based security products.
- Developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Identifying issues and generating issue reports.
- Reproducing customer-reported issues.
- Assisting developers with issue analysis.
- Verification of patches and bug fixes.
- Interfacing closely with product/project owner, developers, and other QA engineers.
- BS/MS in CS/InformationSecurity/EE/TE or equivalent education from a recognized reputed institution.
- Strong knowledge of computer networks ( TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs etc)
- Have done some level of network monitoring, familiarity with wireshark or any other network traffic analysis/monitoring tool
- Strong documentation and communication skills within a team environment.
- At least intermediate level programming skills in at least one programming language. Python preferred.
- Computer/network threats and attacks understanding is plus.
- Knowledgeable about popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
- Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, Unix).
- Should be fast learner
