Echo Oil Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Trainee Officer in Finance to join their team in Islamabad. This role is ideal for recent graduates with an MBA or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized university who are eager to develop their financial acumen in a dynamic oil industry environment. The Finance Management Trainee Officer will engage in various financial activities, contributing to financial reporting, analysis, and the management of ERP systems, while gaining practical experience to support the companys financial operations.
The successful candidate will utilize strong analytical and numerical skills to assist in preparing accurate financial reports and performing detailed financial analyses. With guidance from senior finance professionals, the trainee will learn to navigate and optimize ERP systems and develop expertise in Microsoft Excel. Though this is an entry-level position, it offers a valuable opportunity to build foundational skills in corporate finance without direct team management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Participate in the financial planning and budgeting processes under supervision.
- Utilize ERP systems to input and monitor financial transactions, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, employing formulas, pivot tables, and charts to present data effectively.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, verifying financial documentations and entries.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect and consolidate financial information as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and company policies related to finance operations.
- Assist in audits by compiling necessary financial documents and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Continuously develop professional skills through training and hands-on assignments in finance functions.
