EcomExperts specializes in the development of eCommerce stores and applications for the North-American market. We focus specifically on the Shopify platform supporting over 600 world-renowned e-commerce brands.
What will you do?
As a Software engineer, you will work directly with our account manager in order to implement solutions to our merchant's challenges. These can vary from basic queries such as add to cart functionality issues all the way up to complex ERP integrations.

Crucial Skills to apply
You need to be absolutely fluent with JavaScript. You will be writing a whole lot of JS both on the front end as well as on the back-end side. Besides this, you need to be comfortable with most front-end frameworks. Eye for detail and structured way of working are absolutely crucial as well.
In addition to this we need some kind of proof that you are part of the 1% of software engineers and that you stand out from your peers. Most candidates offer their high GPA score as proof - some show us extensive open-source collaborations. THis said you might have different elements as proof that you stand out.
You will need a mastery of the english language, your english should be sufficient to effectively communicate with the team and in meetings.
Important to note:
We are a 100% remote based team, meaning you will be working from wherever you please. As to the hours, we will expect you to be online during North-American business hours, which will overlap with your nighttime. Before you ask, yes we have other developers based in Pakistan, so you won't be alone! We expect you to work 40h/week from Mon-Fri. The pay is 1x/month and you will have 12 paid vacation days per year. This is not a freelancer opportunity but a full time commitment.
