Functions at the front line, which is responsible for multiple technical platforms including security events, daily batch processing, backup logging, network and infrastructure monitoring, and other tasks as deemed by each respective department. Frequently works independently and is an action oriented decisive team member. As the first level responder, the systems analyst is accountable for prioritizing and proactively handling all issues that come in, including, but not limited to, triaging, troubleshooting, and documenting the steps taken during the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitors, executes, and controls batch processing jobs and systems for efficient operation as well as timely operation of scheduled and non-scheduled processes, procedures and ad hoc activities.
• Responsible for Event Request Incident Management across multiple technical platforms (Server, Security, Batch Processing, Windows, Applications, etc.).
• Executes documented & standard maintenance, procedures, and administration as defined by technical teams.
• Prioritizes issues of varying severity, and effectively manages the resolution or escalation of all issues within accepted service level objectives.
• Completes and reviews daily required Operations shift reports, problem logs, and run requests with completeness utilizing standards and procedures.
• Communicates with global peers across Service & Incident Management, Information Security, Risk and Compliance, and Information Technology teams.
• Proactively stays current with technical skills via training and certifications.
• Performs other assigned jobs or projects as required or requested by Command Center management.
